It's just the right amount of awkward

Ever since I quit my job a month ago I have been thinking of this blog. I have been writing posts in my head and have sadly not been posting them.

SO. This is just a small reminder that I am in fact alive. I am writing and have just completed Chapter 8. Despite what Chuck says, I'm quite proud of my "zombie" story. When I finished Chapter 8 on Sunday-Monday (I hadn't slept) I felt so energized that I only went to bed at 8:30 in the morning.

Have I mentioned that I hate Corporate America yet I can't stop dreaming about my old job.

It's enough to give someone the heebie jeebies.

Anyhoo...I've been reading, playing dragon age, writing, doing errands, baking and most important drinking. I hope to God I don't end up with a weird drinking problem if I ever lift myself from the ranks of unemployed.

On a separate but also important note....how are you guys?

  1. You didn't work in corporate America! You worked in Non-Profit! Holy Crap! Well, at least you're still drinking. We are fine here Charice, but the old place isn't the same without you (hands over mouth and muffling laughter) NO don't write that...wait you did...can you delete it...I think so..there that should do it. We miss you and hope you're weird drinking problem becomes a normal drinking problem soon. Your Corporate America dreamworld friend, Chuck

  2. lol

I didn't mean that the "JOB" was Corporate America. I think what I meant was that while I don't want to go back into the corporate world of having to answer to someone, be up at a certain time and deal with political bullshit, I still miss the people at the "JOB".

I'm glad that you still think of me when you see monkeys and letter openers. I also hope the weird drinking problem becomes normal soon :)

    Karaoke?

  3. Hi CJ! Thanks for stopping by my blog and leaving such a nice comment! I appreciate you taking the time to do that.

I also want to let you know that I just love your book blog (and this one!), and I wanted to leave you a message there, but your comments aren't working! The first time you click, it takes you to a comment page, but when you click on "leave a comment", nothing happens. Thought you should know!
